Senior Associate Kurt Bassuener delivered a keynote address – “The Dayton Accords and the Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” to HIA fellows and conference attendees in Sarajevo on June 28, 2012.
On the same day, he gave a workshop presentation entitled “Bosnia’s Constitutional Reform: Is it Possible to Create a Governable State?” The HIA annual conference drew human rights-oriented your professionals from month-long programs in Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris, New York and Warsaw. The conference opened with a live video address by former US President Bill Clinton.
