In this article for EU Observer, DPC’s Kurt Bassuener and IRMO’s Senada Selo Sabic assess that like Lebanon – a country with an entrenched predatory political class which France’s President Emmanuel Macron says requires a “new political order” – Bosnia and Herzegovina also suffers from a power dynamic which Bassuener calls a “peace cartel.” It also demands a citizen-centered reconstruction to ensure accountability.
